Venclyxto (venetoclax) is a prescription medicine used to treat certain types of cancer, specifically chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). It is used in combination with other medicines such as rituximab or obinutuzumab for the treatment of adults with CLL or SLL who have received at least one prior therapy.

Venclyxto is also used in combination with azacitidine, decitabine, or low-dose cytarabine for the treatment of newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults who are 75 years old or older or who have other medical conditions that prevent the use of standard chemotherapy.

Venetoclax works by blocking the action of a protein called BCL-2, which helps cancer cells survive and multiply. By blocking BCL-2, Venclyxto can help to kill cancer cells and slow down the progression of the disease.
